Setting up the manual scene widget on your iOS 17 or 18 device is simple. Follow these steps to bring your most-used scenes right to your home screen:
- Long Press the Home Screen: Start by pressing and holding your iPhone’s home screen until it enters edit mode.
- Tap “Edit” and “Add Widgets”: In the upper left corner, tap “Edit”, then choose “Add Widgets”.
- Search for eWeLink: In the widget list, find eWeLink by typing its name.
- Add the Widget: Tap “Add Widget” to place it on your home screen.
- Edit the Widget Settings: Click on the eWeLink widget to modify its settings.
- Select Up to 8 Scenes: You can choose up to 8 scenes to display in the widget for easy access.
- Reorder Scenes: Long press the icon on the right to drag and rearrange your scenes in the preferred order.
- Enjoy Quick Scene Control: Once these steps are completed, your manual scene widget is ready to use.

Looking ahead, eWeLink App V5.11, expected around November 23, will introduce a Device Control Widget. This new widget will enable you to control up to 8 devices directly from your iOS 17 or iOS 18 home screen.
