The era of artificial intelligence is already upon us, and smart homes have undoubtedly become an indispensable part of our daily lives. We are thrilled to introduce the latest eWeLink App V5.4, bringing you four major upgrades for a more seamless and efficient smart home experience.

Support More Matter Devices

We are excited to announce that eWeLink App V5.4 now supports more Matter devices, including the Matter Color Temperature Light and Matter On/Off Light Switch. Matter is the new open-source standard for seamless smart home interoperability, meaning you’ll have more device choices that can be easily integrated into the same smart home system. This will greatly simplify smart home deployment and usage, providing a smoother experience overall.

Home/Device Sharing with Minute-precise Expiration Time

We have upgraded the sharing feature for homes and devices. In eWeLink App V5.4, you can set the sharing expiration time down to the minute, whether it’s sharing your home with Guest or a specific device, making it easier for you to manage shared permissions and ensure the security of your home and devices. For instance, if you need to temporarily share your home or a device with a visitor, you can set a precise expiration time, allowing the visitor to use it within the specified time frame, automatically revoking access afterward, safeguarding your privacy and security.

Group Number Limit of Energy Dashboard Increase to 16

Now, in eWeLink App V5.4, you can increase the group number limit for the energy dashboard to 16 groups. The Energy Dashboard helps you easily track and manage device power usage, while grouping devices allows you to view consumption by area, providing you with a more intuitive understanding of energy usage. For example, if your home has multiple areas with devices, such as the living room, bedroom, kitchen, etc., you can group these devices, using the Energy Dashboard to clearly understand the power usage of each area, helping you plan energy usage more efficiently and save on energy costs.

Select Specified Channel for Multi-Channel Devices in Presence Simulation

We have added the option to select a specified channel for multi-channel devices in Presence Simulation. The Presence Simulation feature simulates your presence at home, enhancing home security. Now, you can choose a specific channel for multi-channel devices for a more realistic simulation effect. For example, if you have a multi-channel smart plug, you can select one channel to automatically turn the lights on and off when you’re away, simulating someone being at home, and increasing home security.
