A Comprehensive Guide to eWeLink Virtual Devices
Bridge smart home platforms and trigger entire scenes across ecosystems with a single virtual switch or button.
Today we’re launching the eWeLink Pioneer App, a standalone app that gives you early access to the upcoming 6.0 experience. Built from the ground up with a redesigned home page, smarter device controls, and a faster onboarding flow, the eWeLink Pioneer App is where the future of eWeLink takes shape—one feature at a time.
eWeLink 6.0 is the biggest update we’ve ever worked on. Rather than keep it behind closed doors until it’s perfect, we decided to take a different approach: build it with you.
The eWeLink Pioneer App is a dedicated space where new ideas ship first. You get to try them, break them, and tell us what works. We listen, we iterate, and when something is ready, it graduates to the official app.
The official app stays rock-solid. The eWeLink Pioneer App stays on the edge.
The home screen is no longer one-size-fits-all. With Favorites, you handpick the devices, scenes, and insights that matter most—then arrange them exactly how you like. Everything you need, one tap away.
Each device’s control page now adapts to you. Rearrange sections to put your most-used actions front and center. Less scrolling, more doing.
Adding a new device? Search by model name, follow step-by-step instructions tailored to your specific device, and watch the pairing progress in real time. No more guessing.
eWeLink Pioneer App is also where we explore what could come next. For example, easier sign-in options—such as using a Google account or Apple ID instead of only email and password—are among the ideas we’re considering. And that’s just one possibility. As you try eWeLink Pioneer App, your feedback will help us decide what to improve, what to adjust, and what to bring to more users in future updates.
eWeLink Pioneer App and the official eWeLink app run side by side. Same account. Same devices. Same scenes.
When 6.0 officially launches, eWeLink Pioneer App will continue as our permanent preview channel—always one step ahead, always evolving.
The eWeLink Pioneer App is an early preview, and we want to be upfront about that:
