The latest update, eWeLink App V5.10.1, brings the convenient Device Control Widget for iOS users, compatible with iOS 17 and 18. This widget allows you to quickly access and control your most frequently used devices directly from your home screen.

How to Set Up the Device Control Widget on iOS 17 and 18

Setting up the eWeLink device control widget is simple and customizable. Follow these steps to add your favorite devices to your home screen:

 

  1. Long Press the Home Screen: Start by pressing and holding anywhere on your iPhone’s home screen until the icons start to wiggle, entering edit mode.
  2. Tap “Edit” and “Add Widgets”: In the upper left corner, tap “Edit,” then select “Add Widgets” to open the widget options.
  3. Search for eWeLink: Type “eWeLink” in the search bar to locate the widget.
  4. Select Widget Size: eWeLink offers 4×4, 4×2, and 2×2 widget sizes. Pick the size that fits your home screen layout and tap “Add Widget.”
  5. Configure the Widget: Tap on the newly added eWeLink widget to adjust its settings.
  6. Choose Devices: Select up to 8 devices you want to display for quick access.
  7. Arrange Devices: Tap and hold the icon next to each device to drag and arrange them in your preferred order.
  8. Enjoy Convenient Device Control: Once configured, your widget is ready for instant access to your most-used devices.

With these steps, you can customize a widget that provides effortless control of your eWeLink devices, right at your fingertips.
