Great news for Android and smartwatch users! eWeLink is bringing seamless smart home control directly to your Wear OS watch. With the latest app update, your favorite devices and scenes are just a tap away, right from your wrist. It’s convenience, redefined.
Getting Started in a Few Easy Steps
Unlocking watch control is straightforward. Before you begin, please review the requirements and notes below to ensure compatibility:
Requirements for Your Watch & Phone:
- Your Phone: Must run Android 15 or a later version.
- Your Watch: Must run Wear OS 5.1.0 or above.
Important Note for Non-Pixel Phones:
If you are using a non-Pixel Android phone, you’ll need to install the Google Pixel Watch app from the Google Play Store to pair your watch with your phone before proceeding with the eWeLink setup.
Setup Steps
1. Install or Update the App
Make sure your smartphone is running the eWeLink app version 5.21 or above.
Then, go to eWeLink App > Profile > Wear OS Watches.
2. Install the eWeLink App on Your Watch
When you tap Wear OS Watches, the app will display a prompt:
“Please install the eWeLink app on watch first.”
Tap Install now, and your Wear OS watch will guide you through installing the eWeLink app.
Once installed, your eWeLink account will automatically sync to the watch.
3. Choose What to Sync
After the watch app is installed and your account is synced, return to
eWeLink App > Profile > Wear OS Watches to select which devices and manual scenes you want to control from your watch.
And that’s it! Once set up, you’re ready to command your home with a simple tap on your watch; no phone is needed.
What You Can Do on Your Watch
Your Wear OS watch becomes a smart home remote that can:
● Control devices at a glance
Switch on the hallway light, toggle your heater, or turn off a smart plug—all directly on your watch face.
● Trigger manual scenes instantly
Start your preset routines with a single tap. Whether it’s “Movie Time,” “Good Morning,” or “Leave Home,” scenes are always within reach.
● Stay updated in real time
Device status updates sync as they change, so what you see on your watch always reflects what’s happening at home.

You’re already cozy in bed, reading a book, and the last thing you want to do is get up to turn off the lights. Instead, you simply tap the “Good Night” scene on your Wear OS watch.
